''Men go abroad to wonder at the heights of the mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars, and they pass themselves without wondering''.....ST. AUGUSTINE
''It concerns us to know the purpose we seek in life, for then..we shall be more likely to attain what we want''...ARISTOTLE.
The greatest thing that can happen to a man is SELF-DISCOVERY. A man who has discovered himself...as discovered the greatest treasure in life. Self-discovery gives one authority, confidence and high self esteem. It gives one the guts and balls to hold tenaciously to the best things in life he has defined for himself. It sets one on a path he was wired to toe that will ultimately announce him to his world and bring him to the limelight. Self-discovery allows one live his life other than living someone else's life. Self-discovery becomes the bench mark you use to evaluate which activities are essential and those which aren't.Self-discovery defines the people you accept into your life..such as your friends and spouse. A man who has not discovered himself has at his disposal everybody to please which is the sure evident of failure. A man who has not discovered himself can die for anything because when you don't know which direction to navigate in life...every possible route look appealing. Infact, if you don't know to which port you are sailing...no wind is favorable.
To discover yourself is to have life gives you a platform for expression...Timothy Icon
People who lack expression in life are largely those you have no course to steer in life.To steer a course in life is to be relevant, acknowledge and celebrated in life because they are the contributors in life.
As you begin to make concrete plans for your life this year and years to come...i implore you to look for the best avenues through which you steer the course of which you were born to. CHEERS...!

THE POWER OF OUR THOUGHTS
“Man is made or
unmade by himself in the armory of his thoughts;he forges the weapons by which he
destroys himself; he also fashions the tools by which he builds for himself
heavenly mansions of joy and strength and peace”.
All that a man
achieves and all that he fails to achieve is the direct result of his own
thoughts. A man can only rise, conquer and achieve by lifting up his thoughts.
He can only remain weak, abject and miserable by refusing to lift up his
thoughts. Put it thus: You are what think.! Even the Holy Scripture acknowledges
this same theory by stating that; “As a man thinketh in his heart, so he
is” meaning; what we see in a man is not
just what he claims to be but what he has constantly tune his heart to believe
about himself.
Over the years as I
seek expression in life, I never cease to wonder the one single factor that
holds the difference between the rich and the poor, the achievers and the
under-achievers in life, the great mind and the mediocre, the high flyers and
those on the way side of life. I came to discover that; the achiever, high
flyers and the great minds have ultimately come to believe some certain things
about themselves being nurtured at the altar where reasonable thoughts of their were engaged. To be on the
best side of life is to have thoughts that align to the best side of life.... Timothy Icon.Having
these thoughts continuously and keeping a positive mindset towards it ultimately
translate to what is called a DREAM.
Dreams are the seeds
planted today right deep inside the heart of which tomorrow’s future depend on.
He who cherishes a beautiful dream, a lofty ideal in his heart, will one day
realize it. Columbus
cherishes a dream of another world, he discovered it; Copernicus fostered the
dream of a multiplicity of worlds and a wider universe, and he revealed it; Martin Luther king,
the Wright brothers, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford and several others all had
reasonable imaginations (thoughts) about what they later came to believed and they
all saw it come to full realization.
Dream lofty dreams,
and as you dream, so shall you become. Your dream is the promise of what you
shall one day be; your ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil.
The greatest achievement was at first and for a time a dream. Dreams are the
seedlings of realities. CHEERS…!
