TIME
……! YES....!!!! IT IS TIME…..!
86,400seconds, 1,440 minutes and 24
hours is all what we need in life to make a difference in a day. It is all that
distinguishes the rich and the poor, the achievers and others dreaming their
lives away, the great and the mediocre, the high flyers and those sitting on
the wayside of life. A man once said, “Life
is time and time is life, if you waste your neighbours’ it is called murder”.
How true this statement is cannot be over-emphasized. Time is definitely the
greatest currency God has endorsed us with everyday of our lives. American
dollar is not the greatest currency, South africa rand is not it, Nigerian
naira is not, neither is the Ghanaian Cedi. Time…….definitely, time is that we have at our disposal to live the
life we crave.
Effectiveness in time-management is largely attributed to the fact that, we know what we ought to be doing per time, we know the activities we should be engaged in per time, we know the places we should be seen and the people we should be identified with per time. The realization of this great treasure sets us on a path leading to greatness in life. The respect and value we place on our daily 86,400 seconds per day determine either we end up rejoicing or regretting. New clothes, Cars and other possessions can be bought or replaced but time cannot be recaptured. So many aspects to our human life can only be experienced once.
Of all the resources a man must
acquire, the management of time is the most important. It is the recognition
that a person’s attitude to time will eventually determine if they are
classified as rich or poor, great or small, high flyer or underachiever. It is
worthy to note that, what we do with our time, determines the entire summary of
our life. I was once told several years ago that; time is the condiment for the accomplishment of your purpose in life.
The proper use of your time will determine your placement in the affairs of
life.
Friends….! Spend your time very wisely. Once you lose
control of your time, you have at the same time lost control of your own
destiny and assignment in life. Finally, place a great value on the time which
God has given you by showing your readiness to respond to matters and your
aptness in carrying out the matters which have to do with making progress with
